Lionsgate is ready to start promoting their adaptation of The Hunger Games, that tween post-apocalyptic series which has been capturing the imagination of sci-fi loving girls of a certain age. They’re kicking things off by releasing a series of character posters, and here’s the first. It features actress Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket.

In the story, Effie works as an escort for the series’ heroes Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. The pink hair is probably a wig.
